I have always had a genuine interest and love of the fashion industry. In college, studies included Fashion Design to better understand good lines, fabric, construction and fit. Working throughout college as well as post-graduation in fashion retail. Four years ago, I co-founded Style Hawk with the mission to help make getting dressed dreamy vs. a drag. Helping women with their wardrobes and building inner confidence is a privilege and joy. I have a good eye and understand the power of clothing. Never being one who believes in always playing it safe or following the rules. Fashion is a serious business and personal style should be fun. For me, style doesn’t have to be about wearing head to toe designer, or how thick your wallet is. Style is about being comfortable. Style is about being adventerous and fun. Style is about being confident. Style is about being you. I look forward to sharing my style perspectives and inspiration; tying the work of talented designers across the globe right back here. Welcome to Sanction of Style.

“Helen has been a true lifesaver for me. After years of trying to chase trends and make sense of my fashion as a busy mother of young children, my closet was stuffed with a random hodgepodge of clothing that I didn’t feel excited about putting on. Often times, I’d find myself looking in my closet and feeling like I had nothing that quite worked. The closet edit was a wonderful first step in helping to remove items that were difficult to wear and feel flattering in. Now, I can always find a handful of quality options I’m excited to put on and feel my best self in. Helen has the relationships with designers, clothing resellers and retail shops that the average shopper doesn’t have access to. For a special trip or evening out, I know I can reach out to Helen and she will be ready to offer up some fun and flattering options that I’ll be thrilled to wear or accessorize with. Her services bring a level of expertise and creativity that I don’t have on my own. I love that she has her finger on the pulse of new and creative pieces that feel fresh in our market. She appreciates my personal sense of style, budget and lifestyle.”
“Just before my second child turned two, I began to realize that my self esteem had hit an all time low. I had for over a year avoided most social events outside of work and never reached out to friends to get together, unless we could be in workout clothes at someone’s house. My self-esteem continued to dwindle as time went on. Over the last 5 years, I have extensively grown an investment management firm and had two children. I never took time to shop with intention, but instead bought whatever was on sale, online, late at night, once the family was in bed. Honestly, I really never took time for myself in anything, instead taking care of everyone else. Helen helped me find pieces that made me feel awesome about myself and collaborated with me on what should stay in my closet and what should go. Hiring Helen wasn’t about finding new clothes, it was about finding me.”
“Helen really helped me edit and curate my wardrobe. I feel much more polished and put together, getting dressed everyday is such a pleasure as I adore everything in my closet! I’ve also been introduced to amazing international brands which has given me a whole new appreciation for impeccable tailoring and what an impact it can have on your overall look each day.”
“Helen has changed my entire outlook on my personal style. She has updated my wardrobe to better reflect me as an individual and my lifestyle. She has helped find everyday basics, that were missing in my wardrobe, that I can dress up with accessories when I need to feel pulled together. Helen has worked with me to find perfect outfits for date nights, nights out with girlfriends and beyond. As a busy, working mother of two young children, she has been absolutely amazing to work with and I couldn’t be happier with my new defined style.”
